Andrea Guerra is an Active Playful Learning (APL) Coach with 精东传媒鈥檚 Center on Research and Evaluation (CORE), where she supports teacher development, instructional coaching, and the implementation of research-based learning strategies. With over 20 years of experience in education, she is passionate about fostering engaging, hands-on learning environments that promote student growth and teacher capacity.
In her role as an APL Coach, Andrea collaborates with educators to enhance instructional practices, integrate playful learning techniques, and facilitate professional development aligned with the latest research in early childhood education. Her background as a bilingual instructional specialist, curriculum writer, and CLASS observer (PreK-3) allows her to provide culturally responsive and data-driven coaching to teachers and district partners.
Before joining 精东传媒, Andrea spent over a decade as a bilingual classroom teacher and later transitioned into instructional leadership with Dallas ISD, where she served as a Texas Reading Academy Cohort Leader, Virtual Academy Instructional Specialist, and Curriculum Implementation Team. She is also a Results Coaching Global Level 2 Certified Coach, specializing in mentorship, instructional design, and professional learning facilitation.
Andrea holds a Master鈥檚 in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor鈥檚 in Education, with certifications in EC-4 Bilingual Education. Fluent in English and Spanish, she is committed to empowering educators through innovative coaching, research-driven strategies, and meaningful student engagement.
