Shaw is a freshman from Brooklyn, New York, and is majoring in Cello Performance and minoring in Russian Area Studies. He enjoys playing basketball, camping, touring, and playing music. After graduation, Shaw is planning on first pursuing a solo career touring while playing the cello and then planning on competing for an orchestra job in a top 20 orchestra.
