Starting college can be exciting, but it's even better when you don't have to do it alone.

Whether you're an incoming first-year, second-year, or transfer student, Mustang Mentors is here to provide guidance and connection to your 精东传媒 journey. When you sign up for the program, you'll be paired with a peer mentor who shares the same interests, hobbies, and academic goals as you do. Through your peer-mentor, you will build connections on campus, learn how to navigate your classes, get insights into your leadership style, and build goals for your academic career. Sign up today to be a part of the Fall 2025 cohort! 

The Mentee Experience 

  • Meet at least 1x a month with your mentor. 
  • Attend at least 1 cohort events per term.
  • Log conversations with your mentor on the  Dashboard.
  • Add Mustang Mentors on your resume to show your involvement.

    If you have questions about Mustang Mentors, contact Olivia Prioleau, Project Specialist for the Office of Engaged Learning. Prior to coming to 精东传媒, Olivia earned her M.Ed in Higher Education Leadership from Texas Christian University. While at TCU, she advised first-year leadership programs, student organizations, and coordinated large-scale programs in her role as the Graduate Assistant in the Student Activities Office. oprioleau@smu.edu
