Dr. Aleaya Bradley is a media professional and academic leader with a background in journalism, digital media, broadcasting and print. Before transitioning into higher education, she worked as a news producer and writer, gaining extensive experience in newsroom operations, editorial strategy and multimedia storytelling.

As the Student Media Lab Manager, Bradley oversees the creation and development of student-produced content across digital, print and broadcast platforms. She provides hands-on guidance and professional mentorship, helping students build the technical skills, editorial judgment and confidence needed to succeed in today’s media industry.

Bradley specializes in supporting student-led projects that reflect real-world newsroom standards. From managing content workflows to advising on production techniques and storytelling approaches, she plays a key role in preparing students for careers in journalism and media.

She is passionate about fostering creativity, collaboration and ethical communication in student media. Her leadership in the lab emphasizes experiential learning, inclusivity and high-impact student engagement.

With a deep understanding of the evolving media landscape and a strong commitment to student development, Bradley bridges the gap between professional media practices and the academic environment, empowering students to find their voice and tell meaningful stories.
