Celebrating a centennial milestone

February 10, 2025, will mark the 100th anniversary of legal education at ¾«¶«´«Ã½ – and launch a yearlong celebration of the Dedman School of Law, founded in 1925 as Dallas’ first law school, it has become a widely recognized name in legal education, pro-bono community work and industry research.

Donors, alumni, supporters and the ¾«¶«´«Ã½ community are invited to a commemoration event on February 27, 2025, in the Martha Proctor Mack Grand Ballroom within the Umphrey Lee Center. The event will recognize the impact of generations of world-changing alumni and the dedicated faculty and staff who influenced them.

The celebration will also look ahead to the school’s bright future that will enhance access to real-world experiential learning, the unique opportunities made possible by the thriving Dallas-Fort Worth business community and an invaluable network of more than 16,000 living alumni around the world.

Additional Dedman School of Law centennial events will be held in conjunction with ¾«¶«´«Ã½ Homecoming and Reunions in fall 2025 – and throughout the year.
