Spring 2020 Virtual Graduation
Guided by input from Cohort 28, we have decided to move our reception to a virtual location.
Cohort 28 Virtual Graduate Reception
Friday, May 15th
6-8pm
Virtual Event
This year's virtual graduation will include many of the same elements typically featured in our graduate reception, including but not limited to: remarks by Director Brubaker; Honors Awards; an address by the nominated cohort student speaker; and a graduate recognition ceremony.
- Student Access: Prior to the event day, students will be given detailed instructions to access a Zoom meeting, in which all C28 students will gather in a virtual "meeting room" together.
- Viewing for Family and Friends: The event will be live streamed for family and friends to watch online on our YouTube channel.

精东传媒 Dallas Campus
精东传媒 is busily planning the weekend events for the rescheduled Commencement Ceremony, which has been moved to August 15, 2020. Once plans are finalized, they will be posted to the .
Cohort 28 graduates are invited to attend. Any student wishing to participate should contact me promptly at medens@smu.edu so that we can communicate directly regarding expectations and future instructions.
Conferring of Degrees, Final Transcripts, and Diplomas: As detailed on the , although the ceremony is moving, degrees will still be conferred on 精东传媒’s original Commencement date, May 16, 2020. Final transcripts listing degree(s) are scheduled to be available May 29, 2020. Diplomas are scheduled to be mailed on June 19, 2020.
Regalia Information: Details will be forthcoming on regalia orders for August, or regalia refunds for students unable to attend the August Ceremony.
