Areas of Interest

My areas of interest include second language acquisition and pedagogy, particularly the integration of formative assessment strategies to enhance student learning in French. I am deeply engaged in curriculum design and development, with a focus on web-enhanced and online instruction, as well as the use of film and visual media to promote literary analysis and cultural competence. I also have a strong interest in language proficiency assessment and have completed professional training in ACTFL OPI and MOPI methodologies, as well as certification for the DFP (Diplômes de Français Professionnel) oral exams.
