Favorite thing about 精东传媒: As an 精东传媒 alumnus, my favorite thing about 精东传媒 is the community and connections here. Being able to connect with professors who genuinely care about your success and having great connections and insights on the subject they teach not only supported my academic growth but gave me real world experience in class. Also, the students and alumni are a tight-knit community that become your 精东传媒 family.
Favorite place on campus: My favorite spot on campus is the Boulevard and Dallas Hall lawn. Whether it is a fun game day connecting with friends and alumni, or a weekday seeing students gather to study or hangout, there is always something happening to enjoy.
Favorite place in Dallas: I love being out in nature, so I love to go to White Rock Lake or the Katy Trail. However, my favorite place to go for a quick hike is Cedar Hill State Park. It is a little farther out, but it has multiple trails to hike and beautiful views of sunrise or sunset over the lake.
Favorite restaurant near campus: My favorite restaurant near campus is Olivella’s. They have great pizzas, but my favorite thing on the menu is their pesto panini. Italian food is one of my favorite foods, so they offer great pizza, pasta and sandwiches. I also like Bandito’s, one of my Tex-Mex favorites in Snider Plaza, which is within walking distance from campus.
What I recommend during your stay in Dallas: I recommend going to the different fun neighborhoods around the city, each with their own unique vibe. Highland Park Village, Lower Greenville, Bishop Arts and Knox-Henderson are some of favorite places to eat, shop and walk around.
